Digging Deep for Life on the Red Planet

“The launch of the Mars Phoenix Lander is just a year away. The spacecraft will be aiming for the martian north pole, and if it lands successfully it will dig in snow and ice in one of the few places on Mars where scientists think life could be preserved.”

Rat, mosquito, and spider get used to ZERO GRAVITY along with astronaut

The astronaut’s explanation of how each usually earth bound creature gets used to zero gravity was very enlightening (pardon the pun). The rat was pregnant and the spider had trouble spinning webs… at first.
