The Tesla Roadster, Lotus’ foray into the realm of electric cars, has sold out 100 initial pre-orders. All I can say, is I hope someone had my upcoming birthday in mind when they plunked down the $100,000 deposit.

Weighing less than a thousand pounds, the sporty rear-wheel drive 4-seater is designed to be maximally aerodynamic.” The Loremo AG can handle 0-60 in less than 10 seconds, but with a top speed of 100 MPH.
